I am a director working in natural history documentary production in Bristol who is passionate about bears. I started out as a bear rehabilitator and conservationist, working hands-on with wild bears, and as this website’s URL suggests they still have my heart. Through the contacts I’ve acquired throughout my career I have worked on wildlife documentaries (normally featuring bears), at bear sanctuaries in southeast Asia, in the Canadian wilderness guiding with grizzlies, and surveying bear populations on remote Alaskan islands.
